In October I wrote to several planner companies asking for a planner in exchange for a review and to my surprise and delight, 6 companies responded. I will be using a few of these planners in different ways throughout the year. I'm excited to show you these unboxing and share how I will be using these planners. Here is a photo of the 4 planners that I have selected for this year:
Here are links to the different companies if you are interested in taking a look at all the different products they have to offer:
As I am just getting acquainted with my new planners and system, I am only sharing my January Plum Paper monthly view for January. I love the way it turned out. It's both functional and pretty with just a touch of inspiration. I use washi tape in the monthly view so that I can easily move or remove things as needed and I won't have a ton of things crossed out to distract me from what actually needs to be done. I've been using this washi tape method for about a year now. It's the best way I've found with my constantly changing schedule. The plain washi tape is from Michael's. I like purchasing them when they are on some kind of sale. I have multiple rolls of each color because I do go through them quite quickly using this method in my planner.
As for decorating, I used some stickers from Bloom Planners, washi tape from Michael's and Etsy and I added a quote on graph paper.
The pens I use are a Sharpie Ultra Fine tip which works really well on this washi tape. I hope you enjoyed the video and here is a final look of the January spread.
